So, I was lurking on some IMDB boards (don’t ask) and somebody, this being the internet, was arguing that Woody Allen was much more sexually deviant than Roman Polanski (this also had nothing to do with the board that we were on). At this point my mind decided that it didn’t care about the claims that both of these men are pedophiles, and instead wandered off on a few tangents and random connections. As usual.
The train of thought went something like this: Hey, Woody Allen is supposedly a pervert since he eventually married Soon-Yi, who was the (adopted) daughter of his former partner, Mia Farrow. Mia Farrow starred in Roman Polanski’s film, Rosemary’s Baby. And wait, wasn’t Roman Polanski married to Sharon Tate? The famous Manson vicitim? *Insert quick research here * Whoa! He was!. Weird.
So in a brief period of time I got to contemplate sexual perversions, pedophiles, one of my favorite directors (that’s Woody Allen, for the record), adoptions, one of my favorite films, an actress with an iconic hair style (Farrow), Polish surnames, and Charles fucking Manson. Oh, and murder.
